Patience is a virtue

These are strange times. I'm writing this the morning after a disappointing 1 - 1 draw at Anfield against a 10 man Rubin Kazan.

The unparalleled hype around Klopp's arrival still hasn't died down. No one would have wanted his first game in charge at Anfield to end like last night did but despite the result, hope, support and togetherness still oozed from every emergency exit at Anfield last night. The final whistle was met with huge applause after what on the whole had been a decent atmosphere - especially considering what we have become accustomed to.

Sakho saluted the kop, literally. Our new hero. Our new talisman.

But the fact remains that there is a lot of work to do on the pitch. Klopp knows that, he's not concerned. And nor should we be. We should all have faith. We all seem to have faith. But it's early days, not just for Klopp but for Liverpool fans' new found togetherness, patience and fucking common sense.

I just hope it lasts. If Klopp needs nothing else at the moment it is time and patience from the fans.

Everyone is talking / singing a good game at the moment but I just hope the twitterati vine banter footy acca fuckwits don't start coming out to play if we've not won a few games by Christmas.
